Service Emails. There are some emails that we will need to send you to ensure you’re notified of new babysitting requests and updates. These include notifications that you have a babysitting request from a friend, that someone has asked for you to join their circle or any other friend notifications. A full list of the types of emails you will receive to help you use the service most effectively are shown below:
- Validation email – the email we use to verify your email address when you first register
- Babysitting requests and updates - emails that inform you when someone in your circle has requested a babysitter, has replied to your request to find a babysitter, needs to cancel or amend their request, and confirmation as to whether your application/request has been successful/unsuccessful
- New Party circle requests – Notifications when a friend in your circle has invited you to attend a night out, as well as responses from friends to your party circle request.
- New message notification – when you receive messages from friends in your circle
- Request emails to join your friend’s circle or when someone has accepted your invite
- Password reminder notification – if you have forgotten your password, we will email you through a new one.
- Service suspension notices – if you break the house rules
As well as these Service Emails, you will also receive the occasional newsletter (if you have opted to receive them). These emails genuinely inform you of any changes made to mumscircle.com as well as providing you with information about relevant and carefully targeted money saving offers that we think may be of interest to you, from the ‘offers circle’ section of the site…
Email communications to non members Mumscircle.com members can invite friends to join Mumscircle.com by email via our automated email service. Mumscircle.com will store the non members’ email addresses provided by the member for invite purposes only. These non member addresses will not be stored on our database for longer than required for invite purposes.

Information gathered on registration. When you register for mumscirle.com, you provide your name, email address, number of children and ages. This information is captured for your benefit, and the benefits of your friends within your circle, so they ensure they are communicating with the right person.
Where you wish to add or accept another Member as your friend, you will be allowing them to have sight of your profile. All members who are in your mumscircle will be able to see your profile details, which you can edit at any time through the ‘Account/Edit profile’ page on mumscircle.com. Friends in your circle though will not be able to have access to your babysitting/party circle history or have access to your points information. This is for your use only.
Cookies. We use small files known as "cookies" to enhance your experience of mumscircle.com as follows:
To hold Members' login information, so that your category listings are displayed when you visit the mumscircle.com. This option can be turned off by un-ticking the "Remember me" option beside the login panel on mumscircle.com
We also use cookies and other such devices to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how users use the site and to help us improve the structure of our website (we cannot identify you personally in this way). We use cookies and other such devices to allow us to understand who has seen which pages and advertisements on the website, to determine how frequently particular pages and advertisements are visited, to determine the most popular areas of the website and generally in order to monitor usage of the website.
Third party cookies including those from Google are used on some parts of the site. They are used for tracking the success of advertising campaigns. These cookies are normally permanent. You may have your registration details removed from the site at any time. To remove yourself please email
contact@mumscircle.com with your email address, and request to be removed from the service. We will then endevour to remove you from our systems and the site as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to communicate such of a Member's personal information as we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which make a request for its disclosure with which we are obliged by law to comply.

We will retain your personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under the mumscircle.com terms and conditions and this Privacy Policy, or as is required by applicable law, and then we will delete it.
